Berit Mohr has designed costumes for Oper Frankfurt's productions of Die Ausflüge des Herrn Brouček/The Adventures of Mr Brouček, Offenbach's Les deux Aveugles, Pépito and Le Cordonnier et le millionaire and Die drei Rätsel/The Three Puzzles, an opera for children. These were followed by productions at Frankfurt's TAT (Theater am Turm) with Nicolas Stemann (Ich und Politik/Me and Politics), the Staatsoper in Hannover (Der kleine Schornsteinfeger/The Little Sweep) and the Landesbühnen Sachsen (Médée and L’Orfeo). During many years living in the Netherlands Berit Mohr designed costumes for contemporary dance, performances and plays. Her work has also been seen in other places, including the 1998 Expo in Lisbon. Berit Mohr teaches at the University for Design in Offenbach and is very interested in investigating how body language is part of human communication.
