The career of the French pianist Cédric Tiberghien has taken him to venues including the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Wigmore Hall and Barbican Center in London, the Salle Pleyel and Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris and the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Recent highlights have included Cédric Tiberghien's debuts with the London Symphony Orchestra, at the Konzerthaus in Wien and Kumho Art Hall in Seoul. Alongside his residence with the Orchestre de Bretagne he has appeared in concert with orchestras including the Hamburg Philharmonic Staatsorchester, the Tonhalle Orchester in Zürich, the Dresden and Czechoslovakian philharmonics, the Cleveland, Boston and City of Birmingham symphony orchestras, the Radio France Philharmonic, Orchestre National de France, the New Japan Philharmonic and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Conductors with whom he has worked have included Christoph Eschenbach, Jiří Bělohlávek, Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Simone Young, Kurt Masur, Ivan Fischer, Jeffrey Tate, Louis Langrée and Enrique Mazzola. Chamber music partners have included the cellist Pieter Wispelwey, viola player Antoine Tamestit and the violinist Alina Ibragimova with whom he has made many recordings. Cédric Tiberghien's recent CD of Bartók works for solo piano is the start of a three part series with Hyperion.
