Arnulf Ballhorn studied with Rainer Zepperitz at the University of Arts in Berlin and has been a member of the orchestra at the Komische Oper Berlin since 2001. His great passions are contemporary music, tango and jazz. He has played the double bass with the KNM Berlin (chamber ensemble for new music) at many international festivals; he also performs with the Vibratanghissimo group and Per Arne Glorvigen Trio regularly at home and abroad. Arnulf Ballhorn took private lessons with Miroslav Vitous and Renaud García-Fons (double bass) and Gary Willis and Jonas Hellborg (electric bass).
