The costume and set designer Julia Müer works regularly with Keith Warner, most recently designing costumes for Jenůfa for Norske Opera Oslo, the set for La forza del destino and costumes for Doctor Faust at the Semperoper in Dresden, Icarus at the Centiere Internazionale d'Arte in Montepulciano and Parsifal and the world premiere of Wahnfried at the Staatstheater in Karlsruhe. They also worked together on Murder in the Cathedral and this production of Hänsel und Gretel at Oper Frankfurt, where she also worked on Ute M. Engelhardt's Monteverdi's L'incoronazione die Poppea, Aulis Sallinen's Barabbas Dialogue and Vanessa, directed by Katharina Thoma, with whom she was awarded the 2007 European Opera Direction Prize. Their productions in recent seasons were seen in Dortmund, an the Opéra National du Rhin in Strassburg (La clemenza di Tito) and the Glyndebourne Festival (Ariadne auf Naxos). Other recent engagements have included Manon with Christiane Lutz at the Landestheater in Salzburg, Semiramide in Nancy and Lohengrin at the Royal Opera in Copenhagen with Nicola Raab and Die Zauberflöte at the Staatsoper in Hannover with Frank Hilbrich.
