Hans-Jürgen Lazar will, once, again, be performing in many operas during Oper Frankfurt’s 2011/12 season, including new productions of Chabrier’s L’Étoile and Janáček’s Die Sache Makropulos/The Makropoulos Case and roles, with which has enjoyed great success in the past, in revivals of Die tote Stadt (Count Albert), Die Fledermaus (Dr. Blind), Reimann’s Lear (Duke of Kent), Die Zauberflöte (Monostatos) and Das Rheingold (Mime).
