SPEND A WHOLE DAY IN THE OPERA HOUSE

for young people aged 14 and over

Find out what goes on behind the scenes, dress up in costumes, assume roles, perform and make new friends. An Opera Day offers young people aged 14 and over the chance to discover more about the wonderful world of opera.

Forget about theory: you will hardly have the chance to sit down, let alone read! Take part in a tour of the building and see just now many people work here doing various tasks in order that a performance can take place, and a workshop that will make demands on your creativity and let you experience the joy that acting brings. Dress up in costumes to help you take on another personality. Round the day off by going to a performance.

A opera day concentrating on Die Fledermaus on Saturday March 23rd 2013 from c.11am - c.10.30pm (performance begins at 7pm)

booking opened on January 28th

An Opera Day costs €25 per person (for the tour, workshop and ticket for the performance).

For at extra €5 you get lunch, something to drink and a snack in the evening.
