Immigration and integration are much discussed themes, especially in a city like Frankfurt where, because a large proportion of the population come from other countries, different cultures do not necessarily come into contact with one another enough. It is only natural for Oper Frankfurt, a cultural institute in the middle of the city, to get involved with with relevant themes of today: theatre has always been a place where society can take stock of itself.
The next in this series takes place before an afternoon performance of Verdi's Otello on March 10th 2013. begins at 7pm. It is held by Baki Kiper and takes place in the Holzfoyer (first floor). The house and evening box office open 15 minutes earlier than usual, at 2.15pm, so there is time to buy a ticket if you need one before the Turkish introduction begins at 2.40pm. The performance starts at 3.30pm.
The last one this season is May 26th 2013 Ein Maskenball
