In March 2014 he returned to Oper Frankfurt to sing Schubert's Die schöne Müllerin. Recent engagements have included Belmonte in Die Entführung aus dem Serail at Zurich Opera and Don Ottavio i Don Giovanni at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris. His first solo CD, of works by Schubert, Beethoven, Grieg, Britten and Trojahn, was included in the Metropolitian Opera Guild's list of the 15 best recordings of 2009. Daniel Behle's seventh solo recording - Die schöne Magelone - was released by Capriccio in 2014, followed by a recording of Gluck arias for Decca.
