Our generous supporters make it possible for families and friends to enjoy performances at Oper Frankfurt together. This season, alongside the more popular Mozart operas (Die Zauberflöte/The Magic Flute and Die Entführung aus dem Serail/The Abduction from the Seraglio) we offer Verdi’s Don Carlo (in a thrilling production with historically inspired costumes), a colourful double bill - L’Oracolo/Le Villi and a wonderfully refreshing interpretation of a baroque opera: Orlando furioso, by Antonio Vivaldi.

The result of a questionnaire handed out to the public was that 60% visited the opera for the first time when they were between 10 and 19 years old – this series makes it possible for family groups to experience the emotions and excitement during a performance at Oper Frankfurt together. With the curtain going up at family friendly times and FREE tickets for children we hope to instill a love for opera in the audiences of the future. Every adult purchasing a ticket is entitled to (depending on availability of course) a maximum of 3 FREE tickets for children or young people under the age of 18.
