The role of Riccardo in the revival of Un Ballo in Maschera will be sung by Kamen Chanev (May 18th, 26th & June 1st) and Hector Sandoval (June 21st, 23rd & 28th), instead of Joseph Calleja, who is not well.

Cristiana-Antoaneta Pasaroiu will sing the role of Desdemona in the performances this July instead of Leah Crocetto. This Romanian soprano recently thrilled audiences in Frankfurt with the title role in Cilea's Adriana Lecouvreur and Violetta in Verdi's La Traviata.

Sharon Carty, a former member of the Opera Studio, will now sing the title role in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas instead of Paula Murrihy. Sharon Carty repeated her wonderful portrayal of Aloès in Chabrier’s L'Étoile here earlier in the season. During her time in the Opera studio roles for the company included Tebaldo in Don Carlo, 2nd Lady in Die Zauberflöte, The Woman in Barabbas Dialoge and Flora in La Traviata.
