Opera for children
Opera for Children inspired by Giacomo Puccini's THE GIRL FROM THE GOLDEN WEST
Hearing the words wild west immediately brings cowboys, indians, ranches, wanted criminals and the 1849 gold rush to mind. And this is exactly where Giacomo Puccini set his opera. Dick Johnson, a „wanted poster“ bandit turns up in Minnie’s saloon one day. The sheriff, Jack Rance, and the gold prospectors are suspicious: will the newcomer win Minnie’s heart, even though the sheriff loves her too?
