Guy Mannheim
Tenor
Guy Mannheim is making his house debut at Oper Frankfurt as Diomedes in Penthesilea. This tenor, who comes from Israel, is a regular guest at the New Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv where his many roles have included Joe in La Fanciulla del West and Monostatos. Forthcoming productions there include Lucia di Lammermoor, Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny/The Rise and Fall of Mahagonny and Carmen. He is also expanding his repertoire to include Siegmund, Max, Samson and the tenor part in Beethoven’s 9th Symphony. He has given concerts and recitals in Israel Germany, Spain, Montreal, Washington DC and New York. In June 2011 he sang in Die Walküre with the Brandenburg State Orchestra. Guy Mannheim won prizes at the 2005 Belvedere Competition in Vienna and the 2009 International Singing Competition in the Kammeroper at Schloss Rheinsberg.
