Annalisa Raspagliosi
Soprano
Annalisa Raspagliosi is much sought after throughout the world for great, lead Italian roles. She sang the Adriana Lecouvreur for the first time in 2010, at the Teatro Comunale in Florence. She is a regular guest in Frankfurt where she has sung Elisabeth de Valois in Don Carlo (opening run of performances and 2009/10 revival), Maria/Amelia in Simon Boccanegra, Desdemona in concert performances of Otello, Violetta (La Traviata), the title role in Tosca, Valentine in concert performances of Les Huguenots, Nedda in I Pagliacci, Margherita in Boito’s Mefistofele as well as Ah-Joe and Anna in the L’oracolo / Le Villi double bill. She has sung Tosca many times, most recently in Leipzig and at the Deutschen Oper am Rhein. She has sung Violetta in Rome, Ghent, Madrid and Moscow and other cities, Desdemona at the Semperoper in Dresden and Elisabeth de Valois in Los Angeles and Hong Kong. Her repertoire also includes Aida (at the Deutsche Oper Berlin), Leonora in Il trovatore (in Bregenz and Tel Aviv), Luisa Miller (in Bordeaux, at the Ravenna Festival, in Essen and at other theatres), Suor Angelica (role debut in Palma de Mallorca 2011) and Magda in La Rondine (role debut in Leipzig 2010). Her discography includes Meyerbeer’s Robert le Diable and Les Huguenots. This Italian artist has won many awards and toured the world with Luciano Pavarotti.
