Opera for children
Opera for Children inspired by Gioacchino Rossini's THE BARBER FROM SEVILLE
»Figaro, Figaro, Figaro…« This very well known aria is from Rossini’s The Barber of Seville, not Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro: young count Almaviva loves Rosina. She likes him too but she lives with her strict guardian Doctor Bartolo, who jealously watches her every move because, given the chance, he would rather like to marry her himself. Clever Figaro thinks up one trick after the other to ensure that things end happily for the young couple.
