Jeremy Joseph
Jeremy Joseph won the International Silbermann Competition in September 1999. He won second prize at the international organ competition in Dublin. Many concerts have taken Jeremy Joseph to prestigious festivals and concert halls all over Europe, including the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival, the Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, the Auditorio Nacionale Madrid, to Rome, Salamanca, Hong Kong, USA, Mexico, Brasil and Argentina. He is Organist and Harpsichord-Player of the Academy in Vienna and performs regularly with the Wiener Hofmusikkapelle, Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Hamburg Philharmonic, the Tonkünstler Orchester, Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra (Los Angeles), the Austrian Baroque Company, Bach Consort Wien, Aura Musicale Budapest, Il Suonar Parlante, Moderntimes_1800, Kammerorchester Basel and the Spanish National Orchestra. Jeremy Joseph is also the Wiener Hofburgkapelle’s organist. His first solo CD »Organ Music at the Court of Vienna« was recorded on the historical organ in the Stift Klosterneuburg. A recording of Bach’s Klavier-Übung III was released in 2001. Jeremy Joseph has held masterclasses at the Austria Barock Akademie, the Tchaikowsky Conservatoire and the Gnessin Academy in Moscow, and at the Tallinn Organ Festival. In 2011 he taught organ at the Music High School in Stuttgart. He has taught »basso continuo« at theUniversity for Music in Vienna since April 2009. He is a founding member of the Delirio Ensemble.
