Annette Dasch is one of the leading sopranos in the world. She is singing the role of Elisabeth in Tannhäuser for the first time. Annette Dasch made her debut at Oper Frankfurt in April 2013 with Countess Almaviva in Die Hochzeit des Figaro//Le nozze di Figaro. She sang Elsa in Lohengrin at the 2013 Bayreuth and Munich Opera festivals and Eva (role debut) in Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg at the Budapest Festival. Other engagements during the 2013/14 season include Maria in Schubert's Lazarus at theTheater an der Wien and the title role in Arabella at the Nederlandse Opera in Amsterdam. Other engagements during recent seasons have included appearances at the Berlin Staatsoper, the Semperoper in Dresden, the Metropolitan Opera New York, Opéra National de Paris, Teatro Real in Madrid, Teatro del Maggio Musicale in Florence, Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the New National Theatre in Tokyo. Places where she has given recitals and appeared in concert include the Musikverein and Kozerthaus in Vienna, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Schwarzenberg Schubertiade and Schleswig Holstein Music Festival. Annette Dasch has an exclusive contract with Sony Classical and was awarded an ECHO Prize in 2008 for her debut CD Armida. She has been appearing regularly on television since 2008, hosting »Annette's DaschSalon«. a music talk Show on 3Sat.
