Pablo Heras-Casado
Pablo Heras-Casado, who was born in Andalusia, is making his debut at Oper Frankfurt with this new production of Die sizilianische Vesper/The Sicilian Vespers. He recently conducted a new production of Rigoletto at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, directed by Jan Bosse, the same opera with which he will make his debut at the Metropolitan Opera in New York next season (new production directed by Michael Mayer). He 2012 he made his debuts at the Festspielhaus in Baden Baden (new production of Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore, directed by Rolando Villazón), with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam and the Munich and Berlin Philharmonic orchestras.
