Artur Rucinski
Artur Ruciński made his debut at Oper Frankfurt in 2011/12, singing Giorgio Germont in La Traviata. He has sung the role of Ford at the Staatsoper in Hamburg, the Opéra Bastille in Paris and in Bari. This international award-winning baritone from Poland works regularly with many of the world's leading conductors, most recently Lescaut (Massenet's Manon) under Lorin Maazel in Valencia, Eugen Onegin alongside Rolando Villazón in Berlin under Daniel Barenboim and in Valencia under Omer Meir Wellber. The last of the aforementioned engagements was recorded for DVD and a performance of Carmina Burana at the Festwochen in Vienna in 2013 in which Artur Ruciński sang was broadcast on television to twenty five countries. He recently sang the title role in Eugen Onegin, a role he sings in Bologna in this April, at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. Other cities where he has performed have included Cracow, Warsaw, Naples and Parma. Roles during 2014 include Il Conte di Luna (Il trovatore) at the Teatro la Fenice in Venice and Paolo Albiani (Simon Boccanegra) at La Scala Milan.
