Artur Rucinski
Artur Ruciński made his debut at Oper Frankfurt in 2011/12, singing Giorgio Germont
in La Traviata. He returned last season to sing Ford in the first run of this new production - a role he has also sung at the Hamburg State Opera, the Opéra Bastille in Paris and in Bari. This internationally sought after prize winning baritone from Poland works regularly with leading conductors. He sang Lescaut (Massenet's Manon) under Lorin Maazel in Valencia, Eugen Onegin, alongside Rolando Villazón, under Daniel Barenboim in Berlin and in Valencia under Omer Meir Wellber. The production in Valencia is available on DVD and a performance of Carmina Burana in which Artur Ruciński took part at the 2010 Wiener Festwochen was broadcast, on television, to twenty five countries. Recent engagements have included the title role in Eugen Onegin at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and in Bari, Ezio (Attila) in Warsaw and Il Conte di Luna (Il trovatore) at the Teatro la Fenice in Venice. Future engagements include Paolo Albiani (Simon Boccanegra) and Escamillo (Carmen) at La Scala Milan, Giorgio Germont at the Deutsche Oper Berlin and Lord Enrico Ashton (Lucia di Lammermoor) at the Hamburg State Opera and Zurich Opera.
