Alexandra Kadurina
The Ukrainian mezzo-soprano Alexandra Kadurina is making her debut at Oper Frankfurt in this new production of Rossini's La gazza ladra. In 2013, at the Bolshoi, where she was a member of the Opera Studio, she sang Fjodor in Boris Godunow, 3rd Lady in Die Zauberflöte, Prince Orlowsky in Die Fledermaus and Octavian in Der Rosenkavalier. Recent guest engagements have included Gricha (Philippe Fénelon's The Cherry Garden) at the Opéra National de Paris, Beppe (in a concert performance of L’amico Fritz) under Antonino Fogliani, Fjodor at the Teatro Real Madrid under Hartmut Haenchen and Laura (Iolanta) at the Musikfestspielen in Dresden. Her repertoire also includes the roles of Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Linetta (The Love for Three Oranges), Olga (Eugen Onegin) and Polina (Pique Dame). Recent concert work has included appearances at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall in Moscow, performances of Mendelssohn's Ein Sommernachtstraum/A Summer Night's Dream under Wladimir Jurowski, Stravinsky's Pulcinella under Vassily Sinaisky and Haydn's Stabat mater. Alexandra Kadurina graduated from the National Academy for Music in Kiew. She has won many prizes at competitions in the Ukraine, Russia, the Czeck Republic and 2011 Neue Stimmen (new voices) competition in Gütersloh.
