Camilla Nylund proved once again how versatile an artist she is when she sang Angèle Didier (role debut) in concert performances of Lehár's Der Graf von Luxemburg at Oper Frankfurt during the 2015/16 season. This Sächsische Kammersängerin, who was born in Finland and who won the Swedish Cultural Prize and the Finnish President's Pro Finlandia Medal, thrills audiences at theatres all over the world, including the Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg, Munich and Vienna state operas, Finnish National Opera in Helsinki, the Gran Theatre del Lideu in Barcelona, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Covent Garden in London, San Francisco Opera, the New National Theatre in Tokyo and in Bayreuth with roles including Strauss' Salome, Marschallin and Chrysothemis, Dvořak's Rusalka and Wagner's Elisabeth (Tannhäuser), Senta (Der fliegende Holländer/The Flying Dutchman) and Sieglinde (Die Walküre). She is also a regular guest in Frankfurt, where she recently sang Prima donna /Ariadne (new production of Ariadne of Naxos), Arabella (title role) and Elsa (Lohengrin - available on CD - OehmsClassics). She is also much sought after for concert work, especially Strauss' Four last Songs – which she has performed with many orchestras including the Orquestra Simfonica de Barcelona, the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra. Now you have the chance of experiencing her in recital in Frankfurt for the first time.

Here is her detailed programme.
