Beau Gibson

Beau Gibson has been a member of the ensemble at Oper Frankfurt since 2012/13. During the 2015/16 season he will sing Federico di Frengel in a new production of Stiffelio, the Song Seller / Gherardo in Il trittico, the School Master and Mosquito in a new production of Das schlaue Füchslein/The Cunning Little Vixen and Froh in Das Rheingold. Recent roles for the company have included Bardolfo (Falstaff), Cassio (Otello), the Narrator (Owen Wingrave), 1st Tempter / Knight (Murder in the Cathedral), the Broom Maker (Königskinder), Neptune's High Priest (Idomeneo), Massimo in a new production of Gluck's Ezio, Alonso (The Tempest) and Svatopluk Čech (Die Ausflüge des Herrn Brouček/The Adventures of Mr Brouček). Beau Gibson took part in the world premiere and recording of Christopher Theofanidis' The Refuge. Recent guest engagements have included Froh under James Conlon at Los Angeles Opera, Cassio (Otello) at San Francisco Opera, Tamino in Rome, Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni) at Opera North (New Hampshire) and several roles at Houston Grand Opera, where he was a member of the Opera Studio earlier on in his career. This American tenor also took part in San Francisco Opera's Merola Program.
