The sought after baritone Dalibor Jenis appears regularly at leading opera houses around the world, including La Scala Milan, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, Opéra National de Paris, the Vienna, Munich and Hamburg state operas, the Thea­ter an der Wien, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Los Angeles Opera and the New National Theater in Tokyo. Dalibor Jenis is singing at Oper Frankfurt for the first time since making his house debut with the title role in Don Giovanni in 2000. Other plans this season include Verdi's Macbeth, a role he recently sang at Zurich Opera, in Turin and at the Edinburgh International Festival, at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, Paolo Albiani in Simon Boccanegra at La Scala Milan, Tonio (Pagliacci) and Alfio (Cavalleria rusticana) at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Rigoletto at Opera Australia in Sydney and Nabucco at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. He enjoys a close relationship with the Slovanian National Theatre in Bratislava, where roles this season include Verdi's Nabucco, Paolo Albiani and Macbeth. Important events in his career were Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia) at the Bastille in Paris (available on DVD), the title role in Busoni's Doktor Faustus in Tokyo and the world premiere of Offenbach's Die Rheinnixen/The Rhine Water Sprites at the Festival de Radio France
