Doğuş Güney is back at Oper Frankfurt, where he sang in Prokofiev's Der Spieler / The Gambler and Křenek's Das geheime Königreich / The Secret Kingdom. This Turkish bass was a member of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein's Opera Studio from 2014-2016, where roles included Pinellino (Gianni Schicchi), a Servant (Ariadne auf Naxos), the Count of Ceprano (Rigoletto), Brühlmann (Werther) and the Marquis (La traviata). He took part in the world premiere of Manuel Durão's Minibar at the Hamburg State Opera's Opera Stabile. While studying for his master degree with Ingrid Haubold from 2013 - 2015 at the University for Music in Karlsruhe, he was also a member of the Karlsruhe Staatstheater's Opera Studio. Before going to Karlsruhe he studied singing in Tekirdağ and Izmir. He has taken part in many masterclasses, including ones held by Thomas Hampson, Linda Watson and Júlia Várady.
